Just saw this exact same posting on Nextdoor.com

The original poster was "LORETTA ZAMBRANO, Richmond" but gave an email address of [email protected] and telephone number 320-392-1034

I emailed and texted and had a conversation almost verbatim of what was posted above. Clearly the same scam. I feel a little put out that I was only offered $900 every two weeks!

I went through the conversation and printed a test check. The bank was Columbia State Bank in Washington, which is legitimate, and the routing number matches.

It is pretty sad that these people are still out there trying this in 2018. Here is the email I received and I always do my research first.

I think I’m being solicited by a scammer from that Apollo Hospital scam.
I refused to give the person any personal details until they can prove it’s a legitimate work at home position.
She sent me the Apollo Hospital website link so I sent their career page a message asking for verification.
I think this is the scam already listed here, but years earlier and in a different state, because the link may simply open up there website as an overlay to their real page.
How can I verify and help get them the national recognition they truly deserve?

Please post all of the email addresses that they are using, plus the actual text of the email offering you the job and giving details of the job.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

I've been contacted by several people about this scam. I posted on Craigslist looking for bookkeeping clients.

They all contacted me by text message with the following names and numbers:

Adren also emailed me from [email protected]

I wish I had seen this thread before I was stupidly scammed. I saw a job listing in a facebook group and thought I should try for it. I contacted the person and this was the message.

I was scammed hard. I was naive. I had my doubts but I just didn't trust my instincts. I was scammed nearly $6,000. Seriously. All because I thought I would be reimbursed for these gift cards. I would deposit the check and then the next day, they were returned and I was hit with a fee for the check being returned.

I hope my terrible experience is able to prevent others from avoiding this crap situation.

Said to buy blank checks, envelopes, etc. Sent and employee agreement and everything. Wanted resume. Said he would refund money spent on supplies, blah, blah, blah.
So who do I report this to, if anyone?? What can be done?? Anything??

The posting says it will be part time, and paying 28 dollars an hour. Wow! Right?

After texting with her a bit, she basically changes the Data Entry to Printing Checks.

"This is a work at home Job Offer, and it is %100 legitimate, You have nothing to be worried about Your task will be printing and stuffing of our co-workers/clients payroll checks at your home, and making them out with our company USPS account. Let me know if you are ready to get started."

I think, I'm going down to my local OfficeMax and seeing if I can get them to put up a simple warning in the aisle where those checks are kept.

Something like "Did you answer a Craigslist ad asking you to purchase Check Paper? It could be a scam. Ask our representative for more information."
