Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

Thanks for the clarification, JaneDoe. That makes sense and changes the way I was reading your posts. You were already collecting unemployment when you started working for the scammer so you let the Unemployment Office know that you were working. That was doing the right thing in terms of Unemployment, because you believed that you had a real job. Now in order to collect Unemployment again, you need to let them know that the job was a scam. Try giving them a call and asking them what you need to do. Depending on which state you live in dealing with the unemployment office can be a real pain in the butt. You will probably need to print out all the documentation on the scam and go into the office to try to get this straightened out.

My thoughts are with you girl. Hang in there.

I have to say that the unemployment office is one of the most disappointing parts of this whole scenario.
In the United States, every employer is issued an Employer Identification Number by the IRS. If you look at any W2, you will see this number listed. If a control was in place in which the unemployment office merely requested and verified the employer identification number matches the company information when a new job is reported, in a significant number of cases the scam could be detected much more quickly and many victims could potentially be saved a large amount of heartache and stress.

on the "company seal" on the last and bottom page of the "employee contract" I tried asking every company I called to verify that number. I would have thought that wouldve been an easy way for verification before my world turned upside down. I told them I had a possible EIN number and also tried myself to verify it, but no one asked for it even after saying that I had it. The sad thing is I am still getting emails on a daily basis that I believe are scams so I am not even responding to them. I pray that I hear something soon, but y'all have already confirmed my worse nightmare. I did not even think to verify with the department of labor. I have done all I could before and after this whole situation. I just cant shake this horrible feeling I have from all of this. I thought I was giving my husband relief of working 2 night shift jobs, he had a heart attack in august, and now I am praying he wont have another from all of this extra stress and my constant worry. As you posted earlier about the other info on the emails and headers, I can pm them all to you but I have put them in a few of the threads over the past week. Anything you need let me know.

HillBilly wrote:Thanks, JKLove. We're next to positive that "SHE" (the suspected scammer) is lying through his teeth. He just saw one of his criminal enterprises being bad mouthed and tried to insert his foot in his mouth to prevent damage. We, around here are able to ask the questions that make suspected scammers like him flee. They can't talk in public because the only good sense their scams make is in their heads. As T5 said, how can "SHE" work for a place for over a year in a place that has only existed for a month or so?? "SHE" hasn't been back to answer any of our questions, isn't that interesting??

If it was sent to you via UPS, and you shipped it back same means, then UPS has a "fraud" or "suspected fraud" department that you can contact. http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resour ... otect.html
If you have information that you believe could help UPS in preventing or detecting fraudulent activity, we want to hear about it at [email protected].

You know I wouldn't be surprised if David made a post here pretending to be someone else since I've read that he knows about this site.

So I followed up with the link you gave me and they told me there wasn't much that could be done, but they thanked me for notifying them. Saying around this time is where the most fraud happens. It's been 3 weeks or so since the package was sent back and they told me that they were unable to contact the original sender at their primary number.

Were you the only thing I was able to find a semi complaint with? I think it was mid November just saw that there was a issue bc it was an overseas package. I have done extensive research and couldnt find anything until i finally found this website. it is being investigated is all i will say. i had to find out for sure and it has to be put out there properly so others do not go for this. so far 4 women with families have fallen for it and then you. this has to end

Sorry I may not fully understand your question, but you mean a semi complaint in?

RE: Vacancy

Dear

I am Charles Gordon, the HR manager of Angela's Electronics.

We wish to add two new employees to our team within the next 2-3 weeks. It is a home-based, full-time position.

Electroniti.com is an affiliate of Angela's Electronics, located in Moreno Valley, California. We have been in business since 1999 as a distributor of electronics and household goods. We focus on providing great value to both domestic and foreign clients, by providing great prices, service and excellent delivery. Electroniti.com was started in 2012 and has moved Angela's Electronics to new heights. In the year 2013 we enjoyed improvements in both revenues and net profits. Due to our growth, we expect to expand our operation even further and wish to invite you to be a part of our growing team.

If hired as a Logistics Manager with the Angela's Electronics, your duties will include:

* Providing customer support, including dealing with any complaints
* Handling shipments for error-free delivery
* Staying in daily contact with a supervisor
* Doing what is necessary to satisfy our customers satisfied and keep them returning for repeat business

You do not have to have prior experience, but preference will be given to those who are in large metropolitan areas such as NYC, Miami, LA and the Bay Area. In addition, we will give preference to candidates who have some experience in delivery service companies such as FedEx or DHL. Even if you have no experience, don’t let that discourage. We would like for you to apply anyway. Often, a positive attitude and the desire to perform makes a person more valuable than an applicant with a degree and an excellent resume. Our HR team strives to work hard to find just the right person for our company.

After reading Company brochure that is attached, complete the application if you are interested. First, please complete this form that can be found online at this site:

http://helpusstaffing.com/?p=0bb9a5d561 ... 741f2e7ffb

We may require about 5 working days for our HR specialist to process your resume. Once the initial screening is completed, one of our representatives will contact you. You will be scheduled for a phone interview, during which time we will answer your questions and determine if you might be a valuable addition to our team at Angela's Electronics. The earlier you submit your reply the better chance you have of being successful at being hired for the job.

Sincerely Yours,
Charles Gordon

great so they probably wont get any repercussions. when i searched the IP addresses it showed locations in OH and IN. thanks to all on assisting with all of this mess.

Your welcome . I saw also where the email tracing programs gave a location in Ohio , but emails can use forged headers . When non native English speakers word these scam emails they word them differently than a native speaker would . After reading and reviewing thousands of these scam emails and sites over the years you develop a knack for determining the geographic origination through the wording .

Thanks for posting to scamwarners and I'm glad you received the warning and the help you needed here .

No, Jane. The scammers have recently taken over the dot com, and are completely impersonating the "angela's electronics" part of it. the entire website is a lie, except that if you buy something they will charge your credit card ( If they will even accept CC payments). I'd bet if you did try to buy something from that site, there would be a "problem" with their CC approval, and you would need to bank or wire transfer to them to pay for the item.

If you have the misfortune of buying something from that website, you will never see it. They take the item, send it to a "MULE" who in turn ships it overseas to one of their buddies that can make 2 to 5 times as much on it than it sells for in the American market. Or, they just keep it as a gift if it is going towards a romance scam they are also pulling off.

The "David" guy you have spoken to, that is not his real name, either. If these criminals gave out their real names, then it would be so much easier for the law to catch up with them, so they don't.

by janedoe30 Sun Dec 21, 2014 2:14 am
He certainly doesn't sound like a David he has a heavy Australian or Russian accent. Ive come to grips that he is alias.
by vonpaso xlura Sun Dec 21, 2014 6:36 pm
Australian accents sound quite different from Russian accents. Reshipping scams are often run by Slavs, so it's more likely Russian. The writing shows some traits typical of most Slavs, as others have pointed out.
