It's organised crime gina072 with those involved risking substantial terms in prison.

When I have time I hope to devote more attention to their activities.

Though what they do may appear credible, much of what they produce is copy and paste from other places and they evidence some very basic ignorance in simple banking and business procedures which are helpful in determining who they are and where they're based.

It's never easy to uncover a scammer, and isn't always possible, but we've done it to one who recently threatened a member here. Scammers who perform the same scam again and again make it much easier.

Most likely printing bogus checks and sending them to mules to cash.

Of course when the mule is caught, you will be the next (and last) link in the chain the police identify.

Thanks... these people almost got me, it's when they asked for bank details that I became doubtful. I googled the company details and came about this site, which was very helpful in confirming my ssuspicions.

I think all you guys are wonderful angels for sharing your experience with this scam. As you can note that your efforts are clearly working to save people like myself from any harm from these scoundrels.

Members of another forum have set themselves up as potential victims to enable them to be able to collect information on these people. They have perfect CV's and are applying for jobs that fit the obvious profile of scams we have seen presented here by victims.

The intention is to collect their 'active' phone numbers, record their phone calls and extract all the information they can from them, and also disrupt any payments they're foolish enough to entrust to them.

I mention it so that the scammers become more demanding, paranoid and suspicious of real target victims.

I believe that even the scammers are being duped into engaging in this activity as it can't possibly be financially viable considering the amount of work and expense involved.
