Hey, I applied to a job online and received this email as a reply, and I want to check if it's a scam or not. thanx

employ a work-at-home Company Representative, who can handle billings
full inventory of monthly payments and other activities Routed through
him/her worldwide.

and highly reputable marketing company based in the United
State/Canada with the aim of ensuring our clienteles attain excellence
in there administrative endeavors. With research and development fully
grounded in customer feedback, we are an industry leader in quality
product reliability and customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
The position of Accounts Receivable officer entails the following
duties Coordinate payments from our clients, receive payments which
comes in form of certified checks or money orders, process payments at
your local bank, and forward 90% of funds received to the proper
branch office, as instructed. The remaining 10% is your wage/pay; also
you are entitled to a monthly salary of $1000.00, which comes at the
end of every month. Since this position is need-based, you will have

The writing is West African. No one hiring people in the USA or Canada would write like that.

The number in DC is actually in Texas, and the number in Ontario is actually in Pennsylvania.

The scammer is looking for money launderers. As Bryon said, please post complete headers of the email and any websites the scammer pointed you to.

There are no such jobs as work-at-home payment processors. NO legitimate company would need to rely on work-at-home employees to accept payments on their behalf! Legitimate companies DO NOT ask their employees to use their own personal accounts and they DO NOT ask their employees to forward funds to them.
