So here it goes. I was desperately for a home based job and....this morning I revicived an email from #Recruitment Team(Asia.PH) <[email protected]>

until I recieved another email from them saying :
Management decided to HIRE and Try you.
Unlike other traditional jobs, instead of extended interview, etc
We prefer to see in action - performance , work attitude, etc.

Working days - Mon to Sat
Rate: $500 per month (tax free)
You will receive your first pay ($250) after 2 business weeks

So I was so happy when I read it. and I replied I chose 8/5 then I got another email that :
You will work directly under our CLIENT/your employer.
Contact them by email - [email protected]

Then provide these information:
Fullname
Email
Time of shift
If you have call center experience specify how long

Will have HR Orientation to cater admin and other concerns at later date**
No questions will be entertained after this email.

** orientation schedule will be emailed at later time.



please can somebody explain to me if this is a scam or whut?

hi and welcome, iamchesa . Good thing you asked before doing any "work" ( crime) for these scammers (criminals).

yes it is a scam. Chances are good it is either a money mule scam, or a fake check scam. Possibly a little of both.

jobs in Manila do not pay in USD, they pay in Pesos. $500 in todays market is P22,645.53 . Sorry to tell you that no work at home job ( very few if any are actually legal) is going to pay that much. Plus they are all untraceable gmail addresses you are dealing with.

Yours will be the only known real information the cops will have when they investigate the crimes, and you are the only one who will go to jail as a result of it.

Stop all contact with these scammers immediately. Do not tell the scammers you know it is a scam. Do not tell them they are posted here.
You might want to tell the PNP about this. No crime has been committed yet, but more so to show that you are a victim and alert them to the criminal activity. Here is their web page : http://pnp.gov.ph/portal/

No legitimate job pays by Western Union or MoneyGram. The writer appears to be West African. It's a scam.

Yes, it is a scam. No legitimate employer will hire you without an interview and no legitimate employer would have you processing their money and/or send money for anything.
