Hello,

Thanks for your swift response. The vacancy is the position of a Personal Assistant and what it entails is explained below:-

Firstly, I am Dr. Griffin Dolocoza, a consultant neurosurgeon with a lot of elitist patronage, thereby making me a very busy person. If you are chosen for the vacancy, you will be in charge of my mails (pick ups and drop offs), and also running of errands. It is a very flexible job but needs you to be highly efficient and consistent. You will get an advance payment of your first week job, and I will also have my mails/packages forwarded to a nearby post office where you can pick them up at your convenience.

All errands will be in your city/town so it is not a must you own a car, but it is an added advantage if you do. You will be given detailed instructions on every mail received. The content of the packages will be business and personal mails. All expenses and taxes will be covered by me. Your work is 3 days a week (4 hours daily). You will be doing this for 3 weeks until I get back to town so we can formally meet and discuss about the possibility of making this arrangement long term if I'm satisfied with your performance.

You will be paid $400 weekly plus some other benefits.
You can as well work other jobs too.

Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 12 Hours per week
Days: 3 days per week
Weekly Pay: $400.00

BENEFITS:
• AD & D Insurance
• 401(k)
These benefits are only for our permanent employees.

If you think this offer is understood and accepted by you, do not hesitate to write back with the details listed below:

Full name:-
Physical/Residential contact address, (with Apt #, if any):-
City:-
State:-
Zip Code
Cell number:-
Home number:-
Current Occupation and Available hours:-

I will need your committed service almost immediately. Once the information above is received, I will let you know your first assignment and your first week payment will be mailed to you together with some funds to run some errands.

Kindly respond to my message as soon as you get this.

Regards,

Dr. Griffin Dolocoza

Hello,

Thanks for the swift response. Expediency is one of the major qualities being looked out for in a Personal Assistant.

Presently, I'm in Montreal on a job and will be traveling to Quebec next to attend to my patients.

You have already been approved for the position and will be starting at this position fully by next week.

I got your information but I will need you to confirm the address again. Your full contact address with city, state and zip code are the needed information. So I need you to confirm that now and write back to me.

A payment will be mailed to you and it should get delivered within the next 2-3 business day from next week. After receiving the payment, you will have it processed at your bank. The payment will include your weekly pay and the rest will be used to carry out your first assignment.

After checking my files, your first assignment will be running errands to few orphanage homes which I do twice every month. You will be purchasing some stuffs for the kids at the orphanage home at any stores close to you and will have them mailed to the respective orphanage address which will be provided to you later.

I will email you more information about the check delivery and will use this to test your efficiency.

Hope to read back from you soon to confirm you received my email

Regards,

Dr. Griffin Dolocoza

I'm sorry you fell for this scam. If you receive a check and you HAVE NOT done anything with any checks or funds yet, you can just shred the check and cease all communications with the scammer. There's not much they can do with just your name, address and phone number, but you will probably get contacted again by either the same scammer or other scammers.

If you have cashed any checks or sent/received any money, print your emails and take them to your local police to file a report.

In either case, you should also file a complaint at IC3 to document this scam at http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx
