Hi

I have been receiving emails from John Malcolm @ LeaderTrade LLC (based in New York) regarding some part time work receiving money from their clients.

I am fairly sure this is fake - and that I am liable to end up with either dodgy cheques from them or some form of financial disaster on my hands. I have told them to go away - but wanted to check as to whether they are known and therefore warn other

Hi there gerbil99,

From what you tell us it certainly sounds like a scam, and you did good by being cautious. Could you please post the emails you received along with a set of headers please? That way they can be traced by google and people looking for the mails can get alerted.

Thanks for reporting!

Almost certainly. And absolutely certain if they told you they have trouble being paid by foreign customers. They'll ask you to send on 80% of the proceeds via Western Union before you find out that the checks are fake.

The website is a joke. :=)

Badly written and poorly spelled meaningless drivel.

It is not important where did you work before or where are you working now,........

How daft is that ?

I'd look deeper but it's not worth the effort.

Non-EU citizens should go here to find out about obtaining a visa to work as an au pair in the UK

Whenever payment is requested by Western Union you're dealing with a scammer

Interesting. It's most likely coming from Eastern Europe or Russia. Those sites aren't too easy to kill, but I'll do my best! :D Thanks alot for the headers, and well done on finding out it's a scam! :D
