Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

A few weeks ago I received an email from a Marty Giggs saying my resume was approved to email a John Renolds via Hangouts at [email protected]. Well, I messaged him and got "hired" for the job and today i received TWO checks for the amount of $2,450.00 each. John Renolds informed me that the checks are to be used to purchase software for my computer and I must use THEIR vendor and THEIR vendor ONLY! I called both banks listed on the checks to find that both checks are fraudulent, of course! If I would have deposited the checks and then bought the software from their "vendor" Mr. John Renolds would have gotten $4,900.00 and I would be stuck paying it ALL back to my bank! If you receive ANY EMAILS containing the names Marty Giggs, John Renolds, or Mount Sinai Health System just delete the email and go on with your day/night. IT IS A SCAM! Don't become a victim!

Thanks for posting! In case someone is looking for text in the email, could you post the email?
