Greg Mccoy - [email protected] - CL Scam

After a few back and forth notes with this person inside the Craiglist email system, they asked me to contact them at their Gmail account, and this is the email I got. I knew the language was off, not to mention the flagrant list of phishing information the email requested. But the line, "Without much delay I would like to get you familiar with a few facts about the position," is how I ended up here. It seems that line is used in multiple other scams, some of which are found on this forum. So I created an account to share this additional scam with potential victims.

No idea if the Greg McCoy on LinkedIn is involved, or just has a no-activity LinkedIn account they attached to the email, to give legitimacy. There are obviously many legitimate people on LinkedIn, whose profiles are practically empty, have zero connections and no activity.

Thanks for posting! The writer is obviously African and has never been in Europe, and there's another sentence in the email that is characteristic of personal assistant scams.
