Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

So a week ago I was introduced to someone who's doing business development and brand loyalty programs. I met with him a few days ago and he told me a -little- about what he does but he seemed somewhat secretive still. I asked if I could have some more info, maybe some stuff to read but he said that was part of "step 3" which I guess is getting in a room with other people, accountants and other business-types. He gave me a book to read, "The Go-Giver" which is a story about personal development. I did manage to read some of the book and in the book the people the main character speaks to are somewhat secretive and he doesn't quite believe what they can offer him, and he wonders if any of this will be worth it in the long run. It's sort of paralleling what's happening to me right now.

I met him again today and he said "everything hinges on what's in the book" and told me about some principles by Robert Kiyasaki, the author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and more. Again, he didn't really give me much information. I actually ended up finding him and his wife on Facebook through some Googling but nothing really struck me as odd, I was just able to find out more about them. Actually I found a super racist post on his FB but it was from about 5 years ago so... lol, I guess.

The whole thing seems super fishy to me. Not giving me much information to appear mysterious and super important. He hasn't really tried -selling- me anything per se, but he is pretty good with words.
I'm just not sure what to do. Has anyone heard of anything like this before? Should I just ignore this person? It's just a super weird situation. My gut tells me to step away... but I'm sorta intrigued. I know nothing of MLM or other scams aside from ones where they ask you to put money up front or to sell a product. This one seems different.

Any "business" that needs to hide it's products or methods from prospective partners needs to be viewed with suspicion.

Save yourself a lot of wasted time and money and avoid alienating your friends and family as they will be the ones that you end up pestering to buy whatever rubbish it is you end up selling.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
