Attached to this mail is your appointment letter , you are to carefully go through this appointment letter and make sure you have a thorough understanding of the terms and conditions contained therein because your signing it translates to your acceptance of the terms and condition contained therein and they will be binding on you throughout your contract stay with us . Since you are convince that you will arrive here within 2 week from now..we dont need to delay much time as your service is highly needed .In making preparation for the booking of your flight ticket.. We are at the Airport to check the requirement and we were made to understand we can not be your flight ticket without your visa details and also the name of the nearest airport close to your location.so therefore you are require to forward a copy of sign appointment letter to the British Embassy for the processing of your traveling document. Thank you very much for your email to the Royal Yacht hotel. Please be advised we are a hotel in Jersey U.K Channel Islands. We have nothing to do with this company in London giving out job’s. Our general managers name has been used without authorisation. We believe this is an internet scam and I repeat it has nothing whatsoever to do with The Royal Yacht Hotel

Obviously you already realize this is a scam now. Unfortunately, it is a pretty common one these days--the scammers either create a fake hotel with website, or they use information from a real hotel. Then they set up free email accounts (consultant.com is also a free email account) for the hiring manager and the immigration service/travel agent and send out dozens (or hundreds) of job offers.

Each victim is then told to pay fees for traveling documents, visas, etc. The scammer collects the money and walks away.

Here are few things to look for when hunting for jobs. If you see any of these things, you are almost certainly dealing with a scammer.
1) any job offer that didn't involve real interviews
2) job is supposedly from a reputable company but your email contact doesn't have an email at that domain.
3) any fees to be paid by WU
4)any fee requests for traveling documents, visas, etc.
5)Requests for passport scans

In this case, the scammer is misusing the identity of a real hotel. Although judging by the list of vacancies, he doesn't realise it's a hotel.
