Transport industry
General office administration duties
Assistant to our WHS and HR Manager
Time and attendance recording and reporting
Equipment management – Insurance, registration etc.
Payroll clerk – processing and reporting
Plan, direct, coordinate the operations of company;
Receive/Send payments;
Keeping accurate records of operations.
Strong office administration experience
Proficient in Office Excel, Access, Outlook and word
Positive and friendly demeanour
Fluent in English language
Experience in WHS and HR general duties
Ability to make decisions confidently and assertively
Self-motivated and organised

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ACCOUNTS / OFFICE CLERK to support the business and maintain the smooth running of accounts receivables with a view towards promotion for the right candidate. You will be under the supervision of an experienced senior Accountant.

As a small business, you will be very much part of a team ensuring the accounts are kept in order as well as minor accounts payable, bank reconciliation and follow-up of accounts receivable.

As a part time position, we would require you for 10 - 15 hours per week, which may be perfect for new parents wanting to get back into the work force, or for experienced clerks wanting that little bit more activity in their week. With the right candidate, this role could develop into more senior duties.

Duties will include:
• Reconciling client's bank payments into MYOB
• Entering small volume of accounts payable invoices
• Following up with clients,
• Answering telephone & general office duties

Requirements:
• High level competence with Excel
• Good communication & office experience
