Operations & Logistics Manager
Our company continues to see unprecedented growth in what is a competitive channel in the worldwide Retail market. Here is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Operations & Logistics Manager to join the business and consolidate the various logistic and operation elements under one umbrella.
Reporting directly into the Operations and Financial Controller this is a hands on role and requires someone with a thorough understanding of all aspects of Inventory Management, Warehousing, Logistics and Transport including:
Workflow Controls
Ideally having a knowledge of EDI - receipt and processing of orders
Inventory Management
Third Party Logistics Management (relationship & costs)
Strategic sourcing and analysis of supply chain costs
Import/Export and domestic freight
Experience in forecasting and operational budgeting
- Planning - Cost controls and modelling - Contractual obligations
Setting, meeting and managing Business KPI's

To be considered you will be a highly organised individual with strong people management skills and have exceptional written and verbal communications as this role requires an active presence with clients and industry contacts. Working to strict deadlines, you will be able to work autonomously and will be resilient to change with the ability to guide the business operations through periods of strong growth. You will have demonstrated experience implementing business practice improvements which have resulted in a more efficient and cost effective process.
The successful applicant will ideally posses:
Excellent communication skills
Strong PC skills extensively in Excel
Minimum of 1 year experience in logistics (One month paid trial period is available to study all aspects of position. )
An ability to learn quickly
