Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

This is an employment / fake check scam.

VIRTUAL ASSISTANT for your city.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As our regional VIRTUAL ASSISTANT in your city, these are your duties:

-Receiving accredited payment(Money Order/Checks) from buyers. It will be
mailed to you via a courier service for necessary
processing(Take it to the nearest bank for immediate cashing).

-You are to deduct 10% of every payment you process as your commission
and send the rest to our raw materials supplier by Western Union Money
Transfer. The transfer charges will be deducted from the 90% balance and
not from your 10% commission. The least amount you receive is $1700.
Therefore you will be earning at least $170 per transaction thrice a week($510/Week).

- Instructions will be forwarded to you regarding your procedures on how
processing of payments from customers should be handled.
-Keeping full inventory of monthly billings, payments and all other
activities which would be required to be sent to our head office monthly
for records.

-You are required to be reachable easily, carry out instructions as soon
as possible.

-Our benefits include flexible working hours, health and dental
insurance, bonus of $250 per month, 401k and a vacation after 6 months
you have been working with our company.

Welcome and thanks for posting this one, Buck!

As you've already said, this is a clear-cut fake check scam. I haven't checked out the website, but I did notice that the scammer has an AOL address and not one at the company domain. This is frequently an indicator that the scammer is using the name of a real company that he does not actually have any connection to.
