I received an email from Maersk Oil Qatar and could not validate the email address domain. Even though the questionnaire looks well thought for a recruitment process, the email and contact details do not look right.

Can anyone confirm this is a scam?

It is a scam, they want to steal your money for imaginary Visa fees. Can you post the full headers of the [email protected] you received?

Generally you don't use a website to check domains; you use the "whois" (or "jwhois") command. The whois record doesn't say "this domain is a scam", but domains that are registered for one year, if they aren't political campaigns or the like, are likely to be scams. Please post the email you received, including complete headers.
