Hello Everyone,

I'm here to report an employment scam.

1. Applied for job on indeed a few days ago.
2. Got some emails back.
3. Mandatory insurance needed for travel to job site.

The document details has the owner name of "AKAGU-ELLIS' - not sure if this is a known scammer.

The two team members on the website are fake, if you right click google search image they come up as other career profilers and not in the oil and gas industry.

There's no information on any company called RIOCA OFFSHORE anywhere except job list, no rigs being taken over or sold by such company or bought.

Basically this is a typical employment scam.

Offers job, has interview, approved, forms filled, not much in depth personal information taken but mandatory insurance needed for travel.

I hope all of this helps and I HOPE NO ONE BUYS THIS INSURANCE. That insurance website made me laugh so hard.

It is without question a scam . Stop all communication with these criminals . Do not send any money or pay any fees .

Thank you so much OP, you really helped me from falling for a scam. The company name the scammer used is Archer Wells. The emails I received were from Paul Harper with [email protected] and also from Knut Dolmen with [email protected]

I received a plant operator job offer very similar to the OP with a salary of 18,650 pounds but I didn't send it back. The scammer contacted me by phone from an blocked number today to know if I was still interested in the job. I will contact the Canadian anti fraud office tomorrow to let them know.
