Trina Solar Scam? - is this a scam?

Our hiring team has received, reviewed and approved the resume you sent to us on http://www.ziprecruiter.com and you have been shortlisted for an online interview because we believe you have the required qualifications to proceed. I was interviewed and hired, but, not sure about this....has anybody received this kind of email? He said that they will send me a check so I can buy needed hardware/software for my job. I think it is a scam, however, I looked at glassdoor.com and there was one person interviewed over google hangouts that had the same experience as me...

Any help on this is appreciated.

It appears to be a case of Stolen Identity . The Scammers are using the name of a legitimate company to operate a Money Mule Scam . You can inquire on the legitimate company website here :

I have been trying to call up their U.S. branch but, there is no receptionist. I emailed them and am waiting for their reply.

Trina Solar verified that this is a scam. I also told them that Mr. Hardawy Liu has a linked in account stating Trina Solar as his employer...
