Thank you very much for this website I was able to verify a "UK Border Office" scam.

But I still want to seek your help because of an email that I got a month ago about a Carer Job in Dublin, Ireland the group that call themselves "job intermediary services" sent me this email:

We appreciate that you have chosen our job intermediary services!

We would like to set the terms of our service in advance – we offer entirely free job search service for applicants seeking job placement in the European Union. We gain commission only from the employer after the applicant actually starts the job. That might be considered the basis of our future collaboration.

We shall adhere to your education, qualification and work experience background when seeking a potential employer for you. We always initially strive to provide an employer willing to hire a worker under work contract.

We invest time, effort and resources in each job transfer. It takes a lot of hard work to find an employer in Europe willing to accept applications from your country. We conduct vast correspondence and discussions with numerous employers until we find a company open to accept an application from your country. It is also a matter of luck of each application to be continued and accepted.
What follows next:

- Once we process your details, there follows a discussion with the employer, in order to get idea of their attitude towards hiring a worker from your country.
- if the employer agrees to accept your application, they will inform us what requirements you need to present in your particular case. We shall inform you through email of these requirements.
- only upon receipt of such email regarding requirements needed by the employer, you would need to undertake the preparation of the indicated requirements plus obtaining of a labour services security number (according to our work policies).
Let us make it clear from the beginning, requirements preparation is your responsibility in the process. We only provide employer willing to accept your application for a certain job.
In case, you cannot manage the requirements preparation on your own it is recommended to engage a specialized documents preparation agency, that can flawlessly prepare the official documents and requirements.

The cost of such services is usually very low and affordable.

- once the above steps are completed, there follows departure and job start.

As a rule, plane tickets are covered by the employer.
All throughout the process, we shall remain your trusted job intermediaries. We shall guide you and advise you how to tackle each step of the process.
At this point, it is of great importance to provide to us as much information about you and your educational and professional background as possible. This would allow us to work extensively on your application and lead it to a positive development.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Throughout your application process, we are going to send you guiding messages to your email. Some of these messages might be of decisive importance and your quick reaction to them might influence the results of your application. It is very important that our messages always reach you!

For the purpose, please, add our e-mail [email protected] your address book. This way our messages will reach your inbox.

Yours sincerely,

The Management

P.S. In case this message is not meant for you or you are not interested in job placement services, please respond to this email with a blank message with subject: “CANCEL”. Upon receipt of such a message we will immediately stop sending you messages and delete you from our lists.

Thank you!

My first question is is there really a "labour services security number" given in Europe?

Then I received another email from them who now named their group as "Oportunitas Mirus Company":

Thank you for taking interest in our services.

Let us briefly introduce our company. Our name is Translation ABC Ltd. and we deal exclusively with preparation of documents needed to apply for a job in the European Union. To make the story short I sent them the amount and got what they promised. Again I followed the instructions given by "Oportunitas Mirus Company" and received the following email from them:

Dear Applicant,

We have been informed by the preparation agency that your application package has been fully prepared by them and sent to your email. We would also like to confirm once again that the documents meet the standards and are ready to be submitted to the employer.

You would need to print them on quality paper and post them to the employer’s address which is listed in the upper left corner of your cover letter.

We recommend that you use your local governmental postal service or research for other available low cost postal services.

We shall contact the company/employer in a few days to confirm the receipt of your application set there and get initial information about your application. We will keep you informed.

We would like to emphasize that we are also interested in the successful completion of your application. In this regard, we are doing our best to make your job transfer successful.

Upon receipt of your application package, it is very important to have the employer’s final confirmation of his willingness to take the necessary steps to apply for a work permit for you as well as for a work contract, both of which are necessary for obtaining of a work visa. These documents would allow you to legally stay and work in the country.

We will do our best to help you throughout each of the future necessary steps– from visa obtaining in the Embassy to the very departure for Europe and meeting you there upon arrival.

Of course, we should not disregard the possibility of a negative development of your present application. It is reasonable to bear that in mind – such development is also possible. However, so far we believe that your case is not such.

In this relation, we can offer you some other alternatives for obtaining legal rights to live and work in a member state of the European Union. At this stage, it is too early to consider alternatives other than the current one. Now there is a chance (very probable indeed) for the employer to complete this transfer, which is relatively easy to be done, and you can start the job.

As we have already said, this is the best possible way but even if there is a negative result, we should not be discouraged – there are multiple other real opportunities for legal job start abroad. By all means, we will guide you and you can rely on our efficient help.

We wish you good luck in your future initiative and we hope for good news shortly! After all, we have complied with all initial requirements, so now we have reason to hope for a successful result.

Yours sincerely:
The Management

I having doubts by this time and investigated the following address that they gave me: Howth Hill Lodge Nursing Home. Thormanby Road, Howth, Co. Dublin, Ireland. It actually exists but am still a bit doubtful of what is happening.

Then they sent me another email:

Considering that your documents are already deposited with your employer and most of all considering the expected development of your legal job transfer process, we would like to inform you of the timeframes of the entire procedure:

- Receipt of a notification regarding your work permit and work contract - about 46 work days.

- Procedure for obtaining of a work visa - it depends on the work load of the relevant embassy in your country. Usually, the visa procedure takes about two weeks.

- Your departure dates are specified only after the above two procedures are successfully completed. The plane ticket is paid by the employer and is issued exactly on your name.

We hope that these explanations will keep you alert for immediate action regarding your legal job transfer.

Presently your documents are being under review by the employer and we expect results within the period indicated above.

Thank you for your kind attention!

In expectation of good news:

Honestly I am still communicating with them until this second email from a certain Mr. Robert Monroe from UK was sent to me and hiring me as a caregiver, which I fully investigated and navigated me to your site.

Now, were the email from Dublin, Ireland legitimate or a scam? I will appreciate it if you can help me with my dilemma. Thank you very much in anticipation of your help.

Respectfully,

Mr. Primitivo Ochoa

The whole thing does sound shonky. But that is just my opinion.
