Overview
USA citizens only. The Logistics Operator position validates and maintains reports on arriving and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following responsibilities to high quality and performance standards.
Tasks
- Unpacks, examines and routes arriving goods, declines damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Maintains items of shipping materials and supplies
- Responsible for creating arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the client's purchase request
- Records damaged materials or questionable conditions to the team administrator
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school education and one year of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving
- Ability to read and write English, follow verbal directions and use basic math
- Familiarity with MS Office used in this job preferred.
