What should i do if I already shipped packages and then found out it's a scam

1. Print out the emails the scammers sent you and explain to the police that you are a victim of a reshipping scam. Include the names and addresses to which you forwarded the packages. They contain merchandise that was bought with stolen money. If the companies from which the items were bought decide to prosecute, it will go better for you if the police already knows where you sent them to and that you're not an accomplice.

2. Post the emails here. If they were sent from the fake site, include complete headers.

3. If there are other websites used in the scam, post them here. Reshipping scams often use a site where reshippers log in to see what packages are coming and where to reship them. These are often hard to kill, because seeing the evidence of the scam requires logging in.
