BEWARE OF OLIVER PLAZA HOTEL!!! FAKE JOBS...

OLIVER PLAZA HOTEL is an employment scam! The website looks fake because no hotel would post a promotion for online booking only and no telephone numbers are indicated at all. They are seeking employees for almost all positions and the website address is also questionable because the real Oliver Hotel Plaza promotional site that I saw somewhere else have contact numbers listed and the rates are different as well! This is the fake website address: http://www.HotelOliverPlaza.co.uk. I have submitted the email header to find out the authenticity but I was advised that it's another Nigerian Fraud!!! They may sound authentic but there's always a catch. Sample letter is indicated below:

Attached herewith is an Interview Form containing some questions which the management would like you to answer.

Kindly suppy the answers to every immediately under each question and in different colour fonts.

As soon as we receive your response to the interview questions we will furnish you with more details as regards your job application. I want to also inform you that the Hotel Management will fully support you as regards the procurement of visa and all other supporting documents that would be required for you to proceed to the United Kingdom.

nanzweetkiss, can you please post the email adresses used for easy reference? I have the feeling that the website belongs to the real hotel (which isn't involved in the scam).

I HAVE SENT ALL THE DETAILS TO YOU VIA PM including the email headers and the response I got from the Internet Fraud Advisory Group based in UK... THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER EMAIL I RECEIVED FROM A HOTEL NAMED QUALITY HOTEL LUTON with website address: www.qualityhotelluton.com which is very similar to www.HotelOliverPlaza.co.uk... I think the hotels really exist and they could be found on other Hotel Booking websites which provide the telephone numbers of these hotels. It's possible that these hotels are being used by scammers for employment scams. I hope you can check out all the details I submitted to you. I don't want to post my name and email address here so I sent it to you via PM. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this thread. I really was going to fall for this crap. I have sent all my information and even the copy of the passport and photo. They wanted my medical Certificate as well. I told them to give me time till coming monday to arrange the medical certicate and the payment through western union money transfer. But somehow i became suspicious of this employment offer. On their Oliver hotel plaza website, they didn't have any telephone numbers or email addresses. So i started to google for some other websites that might have details of this hotel. Thats when i struck Gold Your thread on Scamwarners. I was so relieved to find out the truth. May God bless you all for helping innocent people not fall for these scams.
