Before I even read the email, I could tell you it is a scam.

Phone numbers that start with 44-70 are redirect numbers--they look like they are in UK, but they are actually redirected to a phone almost anywhere in the world. No legitimate business in UK uses 44-70 numbers--but African scammers use them all the time when they are pretending to be in UK.

As soon as you see a phone number with 44-70, you can be certain it is a scam.

Whenever you see this in any "employment" offer, run, delete, do not reply. It is a scam

What happens is that you will receive cheques, postal orders, money orders, that you will deposit into your bank account, and transfer, usually by Western Union, up to 90% of the amount, keeping the rest as your income.

Eventually the cheques, money orders will prove to be fake, and this can take up to 6 months, at which time, you will have to reimburse your bank, you will probably be involved with answering questions from Law Enforcement over money laundering/passing fraudulent cheques etc.

If you have any questions about employment offers, please continue to post in here.

Take care, and good luck with finding employment

I understand your frustration and irritation over receiving this type of mail Bobert but, to be honest, they're virtually impossible to stop, especially if you're looking for a job and posting your CV on job sites.

I decided to torment these people back by baiting them and wasting their time. but that's my personal choice and not something that everyone has the time and inclination to do, but it means that I don't get wound up by the trash they send me. It also means that I keep them busy and give them less time to work on real victims.

Whenever payment is requested by Western Union you're dealing with a scammer
