Yes, it's a scam. fpplastics.com is a privately registered domain, registered for one-year only which no legitimate company claiming to be as known and successful as this one would do.

Never accept a position without a face-to-face interview.

I had received the same offer.
They ask me to pay in advance, an amount of money for the "safety (damage)" rental, for an apartment, even before they said will be no payment in advance.
It is a scam :(

The original post is talking about an employment scam, but you seem to be talking about a rental scam. Please post the emails that you have received (with your details removed) and the full contact details that the scammer used.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
