Attn: Victim

Congratulations, We already go through your Online Evaluation Interview form and you fit our working preference and we're happy to offer you the position of Safety Officer in our firm. We need to state out our Terms and conditions of our Visa and work permit process before sending you our Approval/Offer Letter. During your first month with us you will undergo a probationary test period of 1 month in which you need to sign along with your offer letter. This procedure will be followed according with the Malaysia Immigration rules.

During your visa processing procedures we send all your documents to the Immigration for approval, after your documents is verified and approved you then have to buy a Personal Insurance Bond from Immigration, which most workers wouldn't like to include, this procedure is a must to enable immigration track your activities with your employer because this is considered as a direct hire.

As a foreign worker, you need to purchase a personal bond form/insurance guarantee after all your documents have been verified and approved, you're not paying to us, the form will be sent by Immigration department and Immigration will send your approval letter us which makes you eligible to work in Malaysia before instructing you on how to settle your bond.

What is a Personal/security bond?

You need to place a RM1000 (PHP12,160) personal bond for your Work Permit. The bond is in the form of a banker’s or insurance guarantee to support your documents. And is refundable after your contract with the company. You can as well verify this procedures from Official Malaysia Immigration website link http://www.imi.gov.my/index.php/en/foreign-worker.html

The bond is between you and the Immigration. It is used to ensure that you comply with the foreign workers immigration rules on your Work Permit.

When to get the bond?

You need to get the bond during your visa process as i stated herein, your application need to be approved before you can settled the bond.
When you buy the bond, the bank or insurance company will send to Immigration department the details electronically. This information may take up to 3 working days to reach.
We need to receive the details before your visa and work permit will be finalized. Otherwise, they will refuse you entry.

When will the bond be discharged?

You will be discharged from the security bond only if you meet all of these conditions:
You have cancelled your Work Permit.
You did not breach any of the conditions of the security bond.
If all conditions are met, the security bond will usually be discharged one week after you leave the country.

When the bond will be forfeited?

You violate any of the conditions of the Work Permit or the security bond.
If you provide the company with false documents.
You fail to go back when your contract Work Permits are expired, revoked or cancelled.
You go missing without explanation or police report to back up your claim.
We have deal with many employers who will edit their CV just to get a job, on reaching here we will find out they really don't have experience on the field.

You're the one to incur for the insured fees with our help; you’re paying the bond to the immigration department not to us. We will send your file for approval to the Immigration regarding your skill work and after approval the immigration will collect the Personal/security bond fee, which they will hold till your contract is finish with us here. If by any chance you break the contract the immigration will still hold the money as security fee or you doesn't possess any knowledge of the work you were assigned to during your probationary month, the company has the right to terminate your employment and Immigration will not refund back your security fee, that's the rules here and we follow it as per government orders. But if you exceed the company expectations, after the contract the immigration department will refund you back your Insured Bond.

If you agreed with this term I will send you offer letter with Visa application form to fill, NOTE: The Company will pay for your Visa/Work Permit fees together with flight and accommodation.

As an expert in this field, this term shouldn't be a problem for you if really you have required job description and experience.

Thank you for your kind understanding

Regards

Thanks

Hello,
This is a scam to steal money from you.
The company claims to have been in business for years but the web site www.weldcon.net is less than one month old. The best thing to do now is to ignore all emails and telephone calls from these criminals. Do not tell hem that you know it is a scam. Just go silent and let them wonder what happened.

Mod Note: This post was made by the scammer himself or one of his associates in an attempt to avoid losing victims. We are leaving it here to show how far these pathetic criminals will go to steal from their victims.

Hello!!! This is legit. Just follow there procedures. You cannot say this is scam just because of the period of it’s website existence. They will give you an offer letter after you pass the preliminary online interview after that you decide if it is scam or not.

You can when the company in question claims to have been in existence for nearly 20 years and trading internationaly with blue chip companies - companies like that don't suddenly decide after 20 years to have a website.

Then there is the details of who registered the company. The business claims to be located in Malaysia and Brunei, yet it was registered by someone in India

This pathetic excuse for an individual is targeting victims in third world countries who are looking to improve their lives by moving overseas to work. He charges them fees for non-existent visas and other travel papers.

How can i know if Weldcon Engineering and construction, a company that they said is based in Malaysia, is legit or not?

The company is contacting me through the email: [email protected]

Is the personal bond of 1000MYR really required to be paid by the employee in order for them to work to Malaysia?
by AlanJones Tue May 29, 2018 12:04 pm
It's a scam. Legitimate companies do not use free email addresses like [email protected].

You should also never pay money to get a job. Any payments that are required for visas and permits would be paid to the Embassy/Consulate when you make your application. Legitimate employers will not refer you to a specific person or company to arrange your visa.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
