Craigslist Scam for Loss Prevention and Bartender Trainees

My boyfriend and I responded to a couple of ads in Craigslist

The one I went to was for a "Loss Prevention Agent Trainee" position he went to an interview for a "Bartender Trainee." What was weird was both interviews were in the same building, we found out later both companies are run by the same guy. You call the number listed and listen to the message. Same voice, different companies (Yes should have known)

To start with both companies advertise jobs and in reality they are selling a training program. The loss Prevention Agent position would cost $300 and they would send you out on interviews. The Bartenders course was $200, same thing.

We both lost a total of $500.

There were no jobs and we both used their "lead lists" and the companies we went to never even heard of them or how their Companys name got on their list!

We did some research and OMG some scary stuff. Both companies are listed on the BBB with F ratings and on a site called rippoff.com with lots of complaints.

I want to give all the information to you so your readers will be warned.
