i received job acceptance

i received a job acceptance to work in us and after that i realised that is a scammer ,
i sent back the letter and passport copy
there is any risk for sending my passport copy

There's a risk that the scammer could use your name and ID in future scams.

You should advise the office that issued you passport of what has happened and see what they advise.
