I have received a few emails an example is shown below

W0RK FROM H0ME W0RK FROM [email protected]

To @hotmail.com
From: W0RK FROM H0ME ([email protected])
Sent: 29 March 2011 09:47:18
To: @hotmail.com

Microsoft SmartScreen marked this message as junk and we'll delete it after ten days.
Wait, it's safe!

On opening there is a link to a supposed ad online and in newspapers. I have googled both email addresses above but nothing comes up. Although the ad is obviously targeted at USA, it uses a supposed real life example from my home town in Scotland but the earnings are quoted in dollars.
Does anyone have any info on this scam?
Thanks
FC!

Why is a Chinese website written in English ? It's one for the trash.

Non-EU citizens should go here to find out about obtaining a visa to work as an au pair in the UK

Whenever payment is requested by Western Union you're dealing with a scammer

As I have plenty of time on my hands I followed it through and it's a waste of time - possibly worse, and you have to pay money up front.

I won't name the company as you can find out this out for yourself along with what I've discovered as freely available information.

The underlying business has an 'F' rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Factors that lowered rating include:

* BBB concerns with the industry in which this business operates.
* 38 complaints filed against business
* Advertising issue(s) found by BBB.
* Business has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints.
* BBB does not have sufficient information to determine how long this business has been operating. BBB made one or more requests for background information from the business. BBB has not received a response from this business and/or has not been able to verify information received from this business.
* BBB does not have sufficient background information on this business. BBB made one or more requests for background information from the business. BBB has not received a response from this business and/or has not been able to verify information received from this business.

As of March 28, 2011, there are 35 pending complaints against this company. These are in addition to the closed complaints detailed in this report.

BBB has received complaints stating that the company has made unauthorized debits to the consumers' accounts, the company is not honoring their money back guarantee or issuing refunds after promising to do so. Complaints further state that the company has hacked into consumers' e-mail accounts and is sending spam e-mails.

Of course, it isn't mentioned at the outset that the underlying purpose is to make money out of you. If it worked it wouldn't have to keep emerging under new names.

In the past programs like this were sold using a sneaky continuation billing scheme in which your small S&H payment automatically enrolled you in a high cost monthly subscription plan.

Personally I recommend that people shouldn't pay for work and never trust a company you don't know, or one with a bad reputation, with your card details.
