Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

Hi there!

I received this e-mail a couple days ago.

The header made it appear that it was from careerbuilder which I had been frequenting, although I had not applied to this job.

I unwisely sent my resume and references, and received the 2nd e-mail as a response. The 2nd response included an application, a FAQ sheet and a job description, all that indicated there would be no investment, contract or money transfer on my end.

I called the phone number, and a woman answered in another language. I visited the website which looks somewhat legitimate, but has some English errors.

I can't find any information about the company outside of the website.

It seems too good to be true!! Help!

I just received the very same email from them today, complete with the accurate Career Builder logo on it. It seemed too good to be true, so I did a Google search and ended up here. I'll be notifying Career Builder as well....

It's so disappointing when you have been looking forever and it finally seems like you find something that will work, and it ends up being a scam.

How awful. :(

I also received the same scam email, exactly one hour after I updated my resume on CareerBuilder. This fraud / scam email was sent to CareerBuilder to investigate. The email is in the Full Header page.

First of all, if a legitimate company finds your resume on CareerBuilder, why would they ask for another copy!! So sad that, so many people are unemployed, desperately looking for job to survive and make ends meet!
