Thank you for posting these scams, they will help others into realising that the offers are bogus. I would like to see the headers from the first email you posted, could you please post them here? If you are unsure what headers are or how to find them just tell us which email provider you use and we'll explain. Thanks! :D

From Canadian Immigration Consultancy Facebook Page, somebody posted a question on how to pay the Immigration Entry Assessment Fee. According to him, he is a direct hire and is being required to pay the £380 assessment fee to continue the process. I suspected right away that it's just a scam. So I asked him what's the name of the employer and he said it's Cascadia Hotel and Suites Vancouver in British Columbia.

I then asked him to forward at least one of the email messages he received from the employer, including the email address used for me to be certain. Here's the one of the emails he received:

There are many companies that provide free email services and most people use them for legitimate purposes. However, because there is no charge and hence no need for a verifiable billing address, bank account or credit card, these accounts are fairly anonymous. That and easy access from ubiquitous internet cafes means such accounts are often abused by criminals who send variants of the "419" scam. Most of these emails are sent from Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, South Africa and various cities in Europe with West African residents as well as various places in Asia. By reporting the scam accounts to the webmail providers you can usually get them closed.

This agreement hereby binds Employer and Employee in that re-imbursements will be made fully to Employees upon presentation of Expense Reports and Receipts of Expenses.

9.0 MEDICAL EXPENSES

We will provide you with comprehensive Health care and Medical check up. During the one month training program, the employee will undergo series of medical test Such as HIV test, Malaria test and Tuberculosis.

Unfortunately, it doesn't help to report the scammers' email addresses and get them closed. It takes only minutes to open a fresh email address.
Additionally, all the email addresses saved in scam warning sites become worthless. The new addresses won't show up with Google for quite some time, giving the scammer the opportunity to operate undetected until someone contacts a scam warning site.

In order to explain how to find headers I need to know which provider you are using first :D (Gmail, hotmail, yahoo,..)

How to check email headers in Yahoo Mail Classic ?
(If you are using the New version of Yahoo Mail then please follow the instructions outlined in the next paragraph)

• Log into your Yahoo! Mail account.
• Click on the email and open it
• On the bottom right corner is a link called "Full Header"
• Once you click on "Full Header" the header will show up at the top of the email message.

How to check email header in the New Yahoo Mail ?

When you log into your email account please check to make sure that you are not using Yahoo Mail Classic. If you are using Yahoo Mail Classic then click on the link, "All New Mail" on the top right corner just before the link for Help.
• Click on the Inbox to see the list of your messages.
• Click on the message and open the email.
• On the top right corner of the email message you will see "Standard Header" and an arrow next to it. Click on this arrow and then click on "Full Headers"
• A new window will open with the header information.
