Be constantly aware of any up-selling and promoting opportunities when they arise. Be fully trained, knowledgeable and confident about our product and services and ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times. Maintain an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel to maximize room sales and revenue for the hotel. Maximization of sales and revenue for the hotel by maintaining a sales and service oriented attitude at all times. Promote in house revenue outlets on a consistent basis when receiving guest inquiries. Ensure the complete knowledge of all property management systems to be used in the Communications department to provide better and faster service to our guest and therefore ensure an increase in guest satisfaction ratings. Effect the fast and efficient monitoring and follow up of guest requests by consistently logging all incoming request in the Software System and ensuring that the Communications Runners have all the necessary information to serve the guest in a professional and cost effective manner. Day and Night Receptionists Front Office
Including with other job vacancy in our hotel, we are also looking for a Day Receptionist and a Night Receptionist to join our large Reception team of approx. 30 to help deliver excellent customer service to all of our guests. The main responsibilities of this role are to check-in / check-out guests, ensure that bills are correct on departure, allocation of rooms to guests and helping the Reception Supervisors ensure that all customer inquiries are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner.
It is essential that you are flexible in your working hours for this role, as the position is full time and operates on a shift basis (early 7am - 3pm / late 3pm - 11pm) 5 days out of 7 including weekends. Night Receptionist hours are from 10pm - 6am or 11pm to 8am. You will have a smart appearance and excellent communication skills are able to work calmly under pressure and maintain Hilton standards at all times. Ideally you will have a hospitality education and experience in working in a customer facing environment for larger 4/5 star hotels.
