This scammer pretends to live in the UK. His emails are actually sent from Nigeria, as shown by the IP addresses, eg 41.71.145.233 - Lagos, Nigeria. He uses the phone number +447024058179. Like all phone numbers which begin with +4470, this is a redirect number, and redirects all calls to his mobile phone in Nigeria.

Here is an example of one of his emails:

Subject: PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW

Hello

We are very happy to have you in our family, but before we proceed, i will like you to know something, its about the processing of your flight documents.

If you are ready to process your document, i will just direct you to a travel agent, they are the one to process all the documents needed for you to work in United Kingdom, Hope you know that. if you are ready to process your documents let me know so i can send you the guidelines, and direct you where to process the documents.

i also want you to be aware that the total fee needed for the processing of your documents is 1000pounds each, and am willing to help shoulder part 60% out it, and you are to shoulder part 40% which is 400pounds, hope you understand.

We do not offer salary deduction simply because of some certain reason, and due to our experience about the bad applicant we helped before, we do not offer salary deduction.

so if you agree with this, email this travel agent for the requirements for the processing of your documents. ([email protected]).

Once again we are very happy to have you in our family.

Thanks

I have this man picture where we can report this scammer A.K.A. Ben Anderson?
by cutelilly Sun Feb 26, 2012 10:07 am
Hi jah,

are you sure that these are scammer's "real" photos, and not photos stolen from other sources?
Most times scammers are hiding behind fake data, and operating from internet cafe in West African countries. They can (and do) steal photos from internet and use them for fraud purposes. Tineye can do a preliminary check.

In USA the competent agency is IC3.

As cutelilly says, scammers send out photographs which they have downloaded from the internet; they pretend that they are photos of their own family.

It is usually impossible to get a scammer who lives in Nigeria (as this scammer does) arrested. They use fake names and email accounts set up with false information, and they often use anonymous internet cafés as well, so it is unlikely that anyone can discover their true identities. But even if we can find out who they really are, the police in our own countries are unable to make an international arrest; and the police in Nigeria are normally too busy concentrating on other crimes to prioritize investigating scammers.

Therefore, the best thing that we can do is publicise the scammers and warn others about them. We can't get them arrested - but we can do our best to prevent them from stealing money from people, by telling others about them.

Yes, its hard to explain how i get his real image. it took me months to follow this man, and I can scan my sim card again to get his exact phone number at nigeria and he even admitted that he is proud to be a scammer.. I can't send all the details how i get his photo. first he thought that i am applying a job but I told him that i am interested about him so he send me his fake face in cam but as we talk he probably mistaken to send his real cam he is from nigeria and from lagos he admitted but his face is dark because all nigerian are black even they put some lights they still look dark.. I have some friends in nigeria i can ask for some help because one of my friends lives from lagos.

Maybe they are busy doing crimes in internet but still they get mistake, he get mad when he knew that i took picture to his cam when he invited me to real face.. he even scare me that he will kill my father hahah stupid..
by jah Tue Feb 28, 2012 7:36 am
That's why scammers don't like to used video call they always wanted you to send your cam because in video call they can't fake their identity. But he got mistake he even told me that he will invite me to his cam for me take a proper shot and he told me even if i enhanced his photo at adobe still it wont be clear. we'll he is right at that point i cant enhanced someone's photo when he is black. not unless he is tan or white..

His chatting with me with webcam and he's with her 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son. I cant believed he used he's own children just to steal money for a poor innocent person

^^It may not have actually been live, but a video loop he stole from someone else. If you couldn't ask questions and get answers, it was a looped video he stole.
