I then signed up (because i was being an idiot) and got a work order to work near me. I got a phone call first from 16302976386 saying they had a work order and that they would give my number to the "client" which i then got a call from 12143039819 saying they where the ones who had direct contact with the actual customer. They told me that they were going to pay me 40 dollars and hour. Any help determining whether or not this is spam will be very much appreciated.

It is real difficult to tell if this is a scam from the information you posted.

What is the job they want you to do?

If it is "processing payments" and sending money through Western Union, it is a scam. If you have to open an account to "work" for them or have to use your own account, it is a scam.

If it has anything to do with sending money through Western Union, it is a scam.

I am not saying that Western Union is a scam, I am saying that scammers use Western Union because of it's characteristics.

They look legitimate, if you have the skills, and want to work on an as needed or when called basis, or fit it around an existing position, then I'd suggest registering with them.

Their website is comprehensive, and I guess it comes down to you having the right skills and training to fit in with their oncall requirements.

It won't cost you anything to register with them , and you should get work, although it may take a while.

I want to label them a scam, but they could just be one of the worst run platforms there is. I did some work for them, and when it came time for payment...I can't get a reply from emails or voice messages. I will continue my due diligence (increasing the volume of email and VM's sent every day) but I worry because I entered my bank account numbers into their system for the purpose of receiving payment. (I did this also through OnForce, so I was not afraid...now I am.) I also noticed in my investigation that they chose an anonymous registration service, and that the toll free number they use does not belong solely to them. I will keep this updated as I learn more, but I fear this could get ugly.
