Sounds a lot like the earlier Datasteem scam. Beware.

Hi BG Rocket and welcome to ScamWarners.

Yes it does look like a scam.

There is no match on Google for a company called GUSTAFBERG INC and the domain that they are emailing from has only been registered since the end of November, for a period of 1 year.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hi guys

I'm only new here, I was just sent that exact same email today, and because I've been applying for so many jobs online in the last couple of weeks, I replied to the email, I didn't give away any more information than my full name and stated that I was wary of giving away personal information online, so I didnt give them my DOB or phone number or anything, but I did open and reply to the email.
Afterwards I took a second look at the email and suspected it to possibly be a scam, which is when I googled it and was led here...
So my question is, can I or my computer be affected just from opening and replying to the email? Obviously I will be leaving it alone now, and certainly wont be giving away personal information or downloading anything from them , but I am just a little worried because I don't exactly know how these things work. So if someone could explain it to me that would be awesome..

Ta guys :D

Shouldn't be any probs TEJA. It would have been a visa scam for going overseas to a non existent job. Also for fake papers they say are needed.
You can hunt around the site for what scammers claim are needed for visas. They love big words and non existent stuff to make it all sound as complex as possible, and they also love to tell of time limits to hastle and harass a potential victim. Don't tell them you came here or anything else.
