Hello Vertti,

It definitely sounds dodgy. It looks to me like they are setting people up to distribute goods that have been purchased with stolen credit cards or goods that are have been sent by scam victims.

Could you post up the email address they are using and also a link to the forum where the job was advertised?

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

I responded to the add and got this mail back:
(NOTE: company name is Relview, not Delview as in my previous post. My mistake.)

Few days later I noticed the add has been removed from Finland forum. What made me think that this could be scam.

Is it possible for you to post up the headers of the email that you were sent? They are using a custom domain and with evidence, we can get it shut down.

The company details that they give are for a legitimate UK company, but they will not be involved in the scam.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

I searched
Company No. 06532863
and the firm looks legit so far.
They are a computer related company.
See next post below for the fraud details WHERE THEIR NAME HAS BEEN ABUSED.

The website was only registered in November, yet the company they are claiming to be has been incorporated for a number of years.

The website is only registered for 1 year.

The registrant's details bear no relation to the company and is in fact a residential property in Australia.

I'm sorry for being quite a dummy on this. But does this mean it is a scam after all?
by AlanJones Mon Dec 12, 2011 1:55 pm
It is a scam.

The company name (REL UK Ltd) being used is a legitimate registered UK company, but they have nothing to do with the scam. The scammers have set up a fake domain to use for their emails and are using the name of the company to give their scam an appearance of legitimacy.

Is it possible for you to post the headers of the email you received from them (minus your details) as this will assist us in getting the fake domain shut down.
