The language used in the email has a number of features that would indicate that it is not written by a native English speaker (mystery shopping companies are usually very strict on language requirements in their reports, so you would think that they would be the same for their employees) and also the rates offered are very high for mystery shopping.

I would say that it is likely to be a scam and that the mystery shopping they want you to do would involve receiving a cheque and then sending a payment from a Western Union location.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hello isos1980

The initial e-mail from a Mystery Shopper Scam will often seem very innocuous.

Please post the e-mail address that sent it together with the full/expanded headers if possible.

Please see our overview of this kind of scam:-

The email address seals it as a scam. Any real Mystery Shopping company would not be writing to you using a Gmail address, they would use their company's own domain.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
