Welcome to Scamwarners, kaitokid9!

Please don't worry too much about the info that you gave the scammer. They only wanted that info to pretend to be hiring you. It's very unlikely that they'll do anything further.

Hello kaitokid9,

Yes it is a scam. The phone numbers are redirect numbers so the person actually receiving the call can be any place in the world and appear to be in the UK.

What the scammer will do is tell you there are fees you have to pay to travel to the UK and want you to pay those fees.

Everything will be made up and not true. All they want is for you to pay them money. There is no job.

It is great you recognized that this is a scam. As long as your CV doesn't have banking or government ID numbers, there is little they can do, except use your name in attempting to scam others.

Whew... I was worried about identity theft and stuff like that... At first it looked legit because of the documents they were sending me. I signed some papers and sent it to them. Foolish of me to think this is real.

I also asked this to my relative in london, and now he's forwarding this to the uk and scottish borders. Shall I play this guy's game and let him taste some of his own medicine? Hahaha. ^~^

Hi kaitokid9 !

As this scammer has your real life info, please just stop all communication with him.

What you refer to as giving him a taste of his own medicine is known as "scambaiting". If you would like to learn how to do this safely, please visit our sister site http://www.419Eater.com. :D

I Mr Augustine Morah a Canadian Citizen here in Scotland.

No native English speaker in Canada or Scotland would drop "am" like that. Possibly an African-American would.
I will need you to start with immediate effect.

This sounds like bureaucratic gobbledygook.
the UK Boarder agency Department

A boarder is someone who stays in a place and eats there. A border is a line delimiting two areas.

If you'd like to bait, please do! But don't bait this one. Post it in Surplus on Eater and pick another from Surplus to bait.
