There is an ABI Electronics Ltd registered with Companies House, with the Registration Number 1824588, however I doubt that it is them that you are communicating with.

You don't say what the email address was that they are communicating with you from, but I would guess that it is a free mail address (such as Yahoo or Gmail). The real ABI Electronics Ltd has a website here - www.abielectronics.co.uk, so I would expect any emails from them to come from an email address that ends @abielectronics.co.uk.

The email address confirms it is a scam.
That is a free email address, just like a yahoo address or a gmail address. It is not in any way associated with the legitimate company.

They haven't asked for any money yet, but it will come. There will be fees for visas and work permits.

It is a definite scam.

If you are still unsure then visit the real company's website www.abielectronics.co.uk, find their phone number and ask to speak to their HR department. I can guarantee that they won't have a clue what you are talking about.

Are they related? also i observed that the job posting was listed all over the Philippine internet job listings...


I am just suprised that they'll just gave me a contract eventhough they're not even interviewed me over the phone or net but the contract lookes genuine i almost gave in.

also i already gave my personal details because i am unaware of this before. is it okay? i am not pursuing the job anymore.

The whole scam revolves around offering anyone who replies to them a fake job, so that they can ask for visa/permit fees from everyone.

I wouldn't worry about having given them personal details as they are unlikely to do anything with them, they just ask for them to look legitimate.

Thanks for the help I really appreciated it. It's so hard to look for a decent job iover the net nowadays..

They almost got me too. It°s just now that I got their email that have an attachments of sponsorship certificate, letter of appointment and they also provided an email address of U board agency as well. Im just worried because at first, they sent me a form and I filled it up with my Social Security No. as well as my personal data and scanned signature using a pen. Are they going to use those information from me to unwanted acts?

Thank God I further search here at net and finally read this post and feedback from this site.

gosh,.. me too..they almost got me...it is very lucky of me to see this forum...my gosh I almost fell to their mails to me...it is always better to check the companies that we are applying, especially like me a fresh graduate..
