Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

Hello,

How it works Here's, the basic premise of the "paid to drive" concept.Adcare™ Inc. seeks people, regular citizens and professional drivers -- to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with a big advert for "Adcare Inc." plastered on your car.The ads are typically vinyl decals, also known as "auto wraps," that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which will cover any portion of your car's exterior surface.

What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy? Lots of exposure and awareness. The auto wraps tend to be colorful and eye-catching and attract lots of attention. Plus, it's a form of advertising with a captive audience, meaning people who are stuck in traffic and can't avoid seeing the wrapped car alongside them. This program will last for 4 months and the minimum period you can participate is 1 month.

You will be compensated with a $200 (Two hundred dollars per Week),which is essentially a "rental" payment for letting our company use the space.Adcare Inc. shall provide experts that would handle the advert placing on your car.You will receive an up front payment of $200 (Two hundred dollars) in form of check for accepting to carry this advert on your car and other weekly payments will also come in the form of checks and delivered to your address weekly.

Of course there are certain requirements, if you want your application to get accepted:

* You must be 18 years old or older.
* You must be a permanent resident of U.S
* You have to have a valid driver's license.
* You must have a good driving record with no serious violations in the last two years.
* You have to agree to drive a minimum amount of miles every month, which is usually at least 300 miles. Don't believe that you can cheat the system and report a false mileage to get more money. The company might install a GPS unit on your automobile or check your mileage odometer for verification.

Additionally there are a few things you can do to increase your paycheck, like driving in highly populated areas, parking for many hours in a high traffic area and be willing to attend special events, like parades or sports events.

The following information below will be needed :

:?: :?: :?: I am dealing with these people now and they certainly give the appearance of being a scammer. They send huge checks and ask you to take out two weeks pay and western union the rest to another person. Now I got a second check to do the same for a different person.

Called sheriff and they said its a scam and to report to ic3.gov FBI fraud site. But when I got out there it doesn't give a spot for someone who hasn't lost any money. Sheriff said that the bank would want their money back, but when I called the bank the account is good and has plenty of money in it. Will take 2nd check to original bank not mine and cash it and send money to new person I will let you all know if the autowrap guy shows up Friday or not. Not spending a dime till it is done though. :?:

I am going to be very blunt here--you are asking for some serious trouble.

Will take 2nd check to original bank not mine and cash it

That is a really good way to get yourself arrested, and possibly find yourself facing felony charges. The authorities have already told you that it is not legitimate--when this blows up, you will have no excuse of ignorance to protect you.

Sheriff said that the bank would want their money back, but when I called the bank the account is good and has plenty of money in it.

Yep, it probably does. These checks are often written on REAL bank accounts. The problem is, the accounts don't belong to the people who are writing the checks--the accounts were hacked or phished. The actual account owner does not yet know that the money is being taken from the account, but eventually they will figure it out, and that is when the process of retrieving the money will start--and it is going be pretty easy for the account owner to prove he/she didn't write those checks. The problems will start anywhere from a few days to a few months after you deposit the check--it takes longer if it is a corporate account with a large balance, or an account owner who doesn't monitor the accounts closely. You WILL be liable, as the law favors the bank here, not the consumer--as the person who deposited the check, ultimately you are responsible for ensuring it came from a reliable source.

There is always a (slim) chance that the crime will go undetected, or the account owner will not pursue justice. But the chances are much greater that it will come back to you, leaving you in a major financial mess (there will be additional fees and fines) and possible a criminal record that can haunt you for life, affecting every part of your life, including your ability to get a job for years down the road.

Welcome to Scamwarners, ccb!

Please do not cash the cheque!!!

It doesn't matter whether you spend any of the money or not. Once the cheque is discovered to be fake you will be held responsible for the total amount.

OK OK I get it. Do I send the check back or keep it for evidence along with all the other paperwork and emails, names and numbers I have?
by Dotti Thu Apr 12, 2012 4:47 pm
No point in sending it back. Shred it, turn it in to the police (if they want it), or keep it--but if you keep it, write FAKE on it in large permanent ink, so that it is clear you were not going to attempt to cash it. Since you have already deposited one check, make sure you keep all correspondence.

He wants the check back and the $500 in a certified check and send them both back to him, He has to give me an address to do this though.
by Dotti Fri Apr 13, 2012 12:26 pm
If you send him a $500 certified check, you will be handing him your own money. Why on earth would you want to do that?

Do not send him anything. He is a criminal, and continuing to correspond with him is pointless. Cut off all contact with him and move on. Block him from your email, don't take any phone calls, and ignore any threats.

I'm slow on this, but that is what I'm doing. He is blowing up my phone, but emails stopped. Thanks for everyone's input, hopefully others will see this and do nothing. :D :D
