I played along just long enough to get this email, which I thought would be helpful for others to see what the ultimate end game is of the scammers. NEVER follow the instructions below if you get something like this. I actually never received any sort of check because I gave them the address of the nearest FBI instead of mine. They probably don't have time for something like this, but you never know. I'm now going to be permanently blocking this person. I thought the part about the travel agent in Idaho was kind of funny. They didn't do their homework very well.

This is just to let you know that the package will be delivered to you soon via Fed Ex courier service with tracking number (798218834771) covering the package. The payment was mistakenly issued in excess with the sum of $2,780,by written your payment with the travel agent fund instead of issuing the payment seperate but my Dad claimed he got my email wrong. I think there shouldn't be a problem on this and i shoud trust you on,so as you get the payment,i want you to get the check deposited in your account and make a partial withdraw payment to be made to the traveling agent,in which you are to deduct a month rent and get $80 for running around and charges in cause of the transaction and get the remaining sent to my traveling agent via WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER so my flight booking can be made ready tomorrow and probably arrives on there next tomorrow in which i have arranged for . Here is the Traveling Agent information you are to get the money sent to:
