I got a job offer by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

Dear all,

I got a job offer by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines today and it sounds too good to be true.
No interview conducted, just filled up a Q&A and i was offer a role of IT Manager.

It was sent from this email address: [email protected]
And in the letter i was asked not to do my visa via British Embassy but get it done with their legal advisor

This sounds fishy to me. And i suspect this is a scam.
Anyone here encounter the same?
If it is a scam let's publish this out so no one will fall into it.

The phone number alone is enough to tell me it is a scam.

Numbers starting with 4470 are not real UK phone numbers. They are redirect phone numbers, forwarded to phones anywhere in the world. They are used by scammers who are pretending to be in UK when they are not. No legitimate UK business or individual would have a 4470 number.

These are called re-direct numbers. They look like a UK phone number but actually re-direct to be answered anywhere in the world.

I'm posting both domains in the fake sites forum. Could you post headers and body of both the message you received from klmairlineuk.com and the message you received from tomcalebchambers.com? Both are email-only domains. If you have the original email advertising the fake job, that would help too.

klmairlineuk.com is dead; tomcalebchambers.com is reported and should die soon.

ETA: Tom Caleb is dead.

I just got 2 e-mails also from Thomas Caleb but an entirely new scam. First E-mail was recieved on February 22 2013 and content was as follows:

The from name is listed as [email protected] but if you go to properties, its actually [email protected]

I figured this was a scam but didn't want to risk an actual job so I replied with

Also the 4470 phone number. and "The Angel of importing crude oil? Was he trying to say "gem" but messed up the slang? lol

I think he was trying to say something about the degrees where two lines meet as in angel. However he can't actually write English so messes up when he tries. Now I don't want to disillusion him and correct his errors should he fall on this post, so leave it all like that and he can continue to send junk.
