Does anyone think TECHAM LIMITED is genuine?
by DeathIncarnate Sat May 12, 2012 1:15 pm
It is fake. I read somewhere on the site that the company has been going for a few years but whois tells me that the domain name was registered in April this year.

Hello DeathIncarnate and welcome to Scamwarners,
You should edit the posts and remove your personal information. This will help prevent a flood of scammers contacting you.

The site is in the process of being reported for fraud.

It is ALWAYS a scam

Thanks, Mike. They have been removed now and I hope this topic will help others out there who may be contacted by the scammers.

I received a similar email to the ones above. I didn't realise this was fake as it all seemed so genuine. However, they now have all my bank details (not my PIN) and have assigned me my first 'task;' around £500 went into my account a short while ago. If this is all fake what should I do, there's no way of getting away from them if they have all my details.

Hello Tia-Lewise and welcome to ScamWarners.

The payment that has been made into your account is fraudulent and will either have come from a fake cheque being paid in, a transfer from a stolen/phished account or a payment by a victim.

It is very likely that your bank will discover the payment to be fraudulent and when they do, they will reverse the transaction and deduct the money from your account - so it is vital that you do not withdraw/spend the money that was deposited. Also, do not send any money to anyone by Western Union/MoneyGram if you are instructed to do so.

What you should do now is print off all the emails that you received from the scammers and take them to your bank and tell them that you now suspect the transfer to be fraudulent.

As to avoiding the scammers, just ignore/delete and futher emails that you recieve from them.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Thanks very much. I notified my bank who put me onto their fraud investigation team. I have removed all my details from the Techam website and have told my 'supervisor' and 'administrator' that they should expect no more contact from me in the future and that I have contacted my bank.

I noticed yesterday when I went on hoping to be able to remove my identification documents. However, I can't. They have photos of my birth certificate, NI number, bank statement and photo ID. I've been a total idiot. As well as fraud, I'm in danger of having my identity stolen. I should notify the police, right? Even if the site is down I need to know I'm safe.
by Dotti Thu May 17, 2012 7:55 am
You are correct - with the amount of information you have provided, it is best to contact the police as a precaution.

I too have completely fallen for it.
Stupid ass idiot.

Please help me.

They have my Passport (Photo) and Bank statement.

I assume also that they have all my details saved in a databse but I deleted the ones on the "My profile" area.

What can I do ?.
Ps. I haven't received money yet. I applied at the beginning of last week, apparently my first job should come in tomorrow. (Monday 21st)
