Is this a scam ? "Jesse Hall" Caregiver needed

i can trust you on you taking care of my sister. So i believe you can
take care of things for her and i believe she is in good hands .So you
will receive the payment of $2,970.58 and once you receive the
payment and get it cashed. You will be deducting your first week wages
of ($450) that I already promised and the rest of the fund will be
transfer by western union to the rental agent for the new apartment
she will be staying in your area.I will be sending the information of
the rental agent to you after you receive the payment,I am entrusting
you on this payment that will be coming to you and I will need your
full trust along this line because I must ensure of your honesty and
full satisfactory of your well being. So let me know if i can trust
you with this..


NOTE.....That the payment will be sent Via Usps 0r Fed-Ex courier
service which i will provide the tracking number afterward it is sent.

It is a scam. There is no caregiving position, only a thief who plans to send you a fraudulent check and have you turn it into cash for him.

The check is fraudulent, and the "rental agent" is the scammer himself or a mule whose job is to forward the cash to the scammer. Ultimately, when the fraud is detected, you would be the one facing serious trouble. The scammer, who used all fake information, will be nowhere to be found.
