Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

After reading Chris Fuller’s blog Oliver Nikolovski - [email protected], I confirmed that the job offer I got was also a scam.
The contract was sent by one named Aiden Cooper ([email protected]), who introduced himself to have relocated from Australia to London. He claims to have seen my profile on an ESL jobseekers’ site, which I actually registered in. He even sent pictures of what appears to be himself, his wife, and daughter (which might be photos of innocent people).

The alterations made are:
Job: teach English to his wife Amanda, native language is Spanish, English level is intermediate
Salary: 4,800 GBP
Address:

AIDEN & AMANDA COOPER FAMILY.
27 Chepstow, Bayswater,
London, W2 4TS
England, United Kingdom.
PHONE: +442081336411
+447035965165

Agency E-mail: [email protected]

This is a scam because:
1. The employer didn’t call for interview nor attempt to make a conversation other than email;
2. The email contents are rather staged and do not relevantly respond to your previous emails;
3. The employer didn’t require proof of authenticity of your qualifications, nor did he show proof of his;
4. The employer is too eager to help you, especially financially;
5. The website of the UK Border agency does not have a Contact Us tab where you can inquire or call to verify;
6. The website of Norfolk House Hotel doesn’t have information as to how to contact them, nor is there any record of its employees;
7. The signatories/references in the contract cannot be confirmed;
8. The format of the contract is legally inadmissible in court; and
9. The offer was too good to be true.

Welcome to ScamWarners.

And the phone number they used is a redirect number which allows the recipient to be anyplace in the world and appear to be in the UK. See this topic for more information: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16485

Do not tell the scammer you know he is a scammer, just disappear. Also do not send him here. He will learn to be a better scammer.
