So I first searched for "Housekeeping Supervisor" and the name of the county I live in to see what would come up in a search engine.
The result was a job for a Housekeeping Supervisor right in my town, found on one of those career sites.
the description is as follows;
I got really excited for the salary it says at the bottom, 40,000 annual. Thats really good pay compared to what my hubby makes right now, and the job requirements are all within my husbands ability and skill level. However, with all things that sound too good to be true, I like to make sure its not a scam. Notice there is no mention on what company this ad was for?
Well I copy and pasted a small tidbit from the beginning of this ad and ran it through google. I was once again dissapointed to find that this job posting, in the same exact wording, was posted recently in Indianopolis and CA, and the one in CA was a craigslist ad that had been flagged as a scam. I also came across what looks like the original company that had posted this ad on their own site, a company that is in like Oklahoma or something.
I have sent a resume into the original ad for this position in my area, to see what kind of response I get back, theres a little bit of me that hopes that the company in Oklahoma is expanding business and they set up shop here in my town. But a large part of me knows that this will turn on to be some wierdo trying to scam me. How mean, I cant believe we now have to be carefull of the jobs we apply for. Frustrating to say the least.
