In the process of being reported for fraud

Hi, Thanks for that! They attempted to lure me this week, however their random phishing attempt aroused my suspicion.

Thanks so much for posting this. These guys contacted me this morning I thought it was a little weird but am desperate for a job at the moment so replied. Should I be worried or contact anyone as I gave my address and telephone number thinking it was genuine. It was only until this afternoon it started sounding weird and I looked into it and saw your posts on here.

The person who contacted me used 2 different emails they are:

Just incase anyone else gets contacted.

Further to previous posts I thought I'd add my experience. Received this morning from "Mr.Parrett" with email address "[email protected]". Haven't replied, assumed it was a scam with the language used. Sadly seems to be one of the pitfalls of posting my CV online....

Thanks for the info. I'll make sure my fishing line is dangling where they can pick it up.

If you are contacted and given a real and active phone number they're using, that would be valuable if you'd let us know what it is.

I have fake CV's all over the place so that I can pick up as much info on them as I can and, if necessary I'll set up masses of CV's to pollute their scam attempts. Others are doing the same.

The one phone contact I got was from a Chinese lady who was barely coherent and shouted at me in the middle of the night and I couldn't understand a word she said.

Any information we get on these people is valuable.

I've just been contacted by these guys too. Instantly got the whiff of something dodgy as the 'job' they were offering me did not fit my skills profile!

What can we do to report them?

Welcome to ScamWarners TheBid, there is really no place to report an attempted scam. The scammers live in countries which have law enforcement which can be bribed. Actually, until money has changed hands, no crime has been committed.

Scammers know that they are pretty much beyond the reach of law enforcement. The amounts they take from each individual is low enough that getting an international investigation is basically impossible. Scammers don't use any information which belongs to them.
