It is a scam. They want to use you either or to pick up Western Union or Moneygram payments from other victims or to cash fake cheques. If you cash a fake cheque and send them the money back your bank upon finding it to be fraudulent will demand you pay the money back and the scammer runs off into the night with your money and leaving you in a world of trouble.

I've ben contacted this week by a company offering me a job doing the same thing. I guessed it was a scam as it sounded too good to be true and I suspected money laundering, and yep, it's a scam.

The email was sent from Turkey, not Russia. I'm going to try to find out if there's a website associated with the scam.
