DVJ Trading Company has changed their name to "Mamaco Financial Solutions". Almost exactly the same e-mails and forms were sent to me. Here's the website: http://www. mamaco.net/?p=index#
I started doing research after they asked for my banking information. If something seems sketchy, it usually is. The guy's accent was cool though. He went by "Patrick Paulsen," but I doubt that's his real name. The e-mails I got were supposedly from a "Sarah Donovan".

I recently came across a job offer from a company called Mamaco Financial Solutions. It was advertising a clerical assistant position where you work from home. The website was really bare, just describing general facts about the stock market, and when you clicked on "career" the clerical assistant position is the only thing that comes up. The website is http://www. mamaco.net /?p=index#.
I sent my resume and received this e-mail:

I responded and was called the next morning by a man with a foreign accent claiming to be my "phone manager" Patrick Paulsen. I actually missed the call the first time because the caller ID on my cell phone just said "California", (which is odd since they are supposed to be based in Kansas City, MO) so I didn't answer. The number he told me to call in the voicemail he left me was (816) 399-4852. That is also the only number listed on the website. I called it and got Mr. Paulsen's personal line. Apparently he is the only one who handles phone calls for his "nationwide financial company". He asked me very briefly about my prior job experiences and then asked me to send a photo copy of my driver's license so that they could do a background check. I did, and he called again the next day to say that I was almost ready to begin the actual job, which he was still very vague about, not giving me many more details that the website had. All I knew was that I was supposed to be handling the company's clients that lived in my area. He said I would be making $2500 a month as base pay, plus 5% commission. He then said "Sarah Donovan" would be e-mailing me again with forms I needed to fill out for tax purposes before I could start my training. This is the e-mail I received:

Dear Nicole,

I’ll begin by telling you about the work in more detail.

The first trial operations will be connected not with stock trading
but with our notable partners. You should perform 3-4 regular tasks
connected with giving orders on stock purchases in our firm by other
traders or with routine payment of salaries and dividends to our
clients from abroad.

During the probation time you will provide services to our business
partners, who order the weekly analytical reviews from world-leading
stock analysts. You will coordinate the payments for forecasting
services on currency markets.

Your personal consultant will help you at each stage in which you
perform serious transactions. You may write to our personal consultant
with any question of interest and receive an exhaustive answer.

Your compensation will be also deducted from the received funds on the
commission basis (approximately $4,000-$8,000 per month). During the
probationary period (40 days) you will be paid $2500 per month, plus
5% commission from every payment received from a client. After the
completion of the probationary period your salary will go up to $3000
per month, plus 7% commission per successfully handled transfer.

Our clients value our performance and are ready to pay extra for
shorter transaction terms.

You may combine work in our company with another job, but on the
condition that you pay due attention to all our operations without
holding back the delivery of our services.

You should not be worried about the taxes, you will not have any
problems with IRS - we guarantee you the full legal support at taxes
payment. You are obliged to pay the tax only from the sum of your
commission, instead of the full sum of transference and for this
purpose in the end of a month all the forms for filling and detailed
instructions will be sent to you. You can order a 1099, W-2 or W-9
form if you want. Our experts are always ready to consult and prompt
you, how to act correctly in any situation connected with taxes even
if it concerns your personal business.

Usually at this stage of your active work no questions arise. This is
why our clients appreciate our services and are ready to pay you the
commission for the performed operations.

Please fill in all required fields of the form attached to this
e-mail and resend it back.

Looking forward to long-term cooperation with you.

Respectfully,
Sarah Donovan

Since I couldn't find anything about Mamaco, I decided to do a little more research before sending strangers my bank information, so I Googled the "dvj trading company" listed in the "from" section of the last e-mail that was sent. It brought me to this scamwarners website. Several others had already reported this "dvj" company as a scam, saying they ask for your banking info, send you money (which is actually fake) and then have you send real money to them, stealing money from you. One person said if they aren't stealing your money, they are at the very least doing some serious money-laundering and using you as a means to do it. I sent them a very nice e-mail back, kindly telling them where to shove it. Looks like they will have to fabricate another company name and website for their scam now.

Welcome nkp0427 and thanks for the heads up on this scam site.

Frankly I find the out of focus pictures on the front page irritating enough on their own to put me off.

In trying to impress, it really makes a fool of itself with some really silly wording on the website, apart from it lacking any credibility whatsoever.

US and UK investment companies are pretty rigidly regulated and this company doesn't make any effort to even pretend it is.

It's so badly written I enjoyed reading it for my personal amusement and, in doing so, I found a marvellous hint as to its origin. It certainly hasn't been written by an American or anyone familiar with US financial markets. :D

The site is in the process of being reported for fraud.

Another site killer has found some more clone sites: mamaco-company.com (which calls itself "Mumaco") and mamaco-solutions.com.

I idiotically sent them my ID too, has any one encountered any fraud because of it? I don't know why i didn't research them first. its making me nervous now that they have my ID. I didn't however send them my bank info. I wrote them back and said I am not comfortable sending my account information. If they could just submit payment via mail or Paypal... Lol. Lets see if they reply.

Welcome to Scamwarners csdiaz23.

I wouldn't be concerned as their sole focus so far has been to launder payments through victims accounts, which they can't do without your bank details.

They may edit the picture of the passport and use it in another scam, but they probably won't use it for identity theft.
