The position being offered is for Financial Support Agent.
Job requirements:
- Minimum 18 y.o.;

Base salary 1,500 GBP is paid at the end of probationary period (once employed on the regular basis, base salary 1,800 GBP is paid on the last business day of the month) via wire transfer directly to your bank account. in the vacancy description link its clearly screaming money laundering.
Anyone who falls for this would be naive. Why would a company who doesn't know anything about you,deposit thousands of pounds into your account,hoping that you will be honest and transfer it via western union or paypal.

Yanktank, you are correct, this is a standard money mule/money laundering setup. Unfortunately there are some naive or unsuspecting people who do fall for the setup. Elderly people are the most common target, as they are often on fixed/low incomes, and the prospect of a job which requires little in the way of legwork is appealing.

On another note, I would discourage you from responding to scammers using your personal email address. If you want to reply to them, I recommend that you visit our sister site, http://www.419eater.com to learn how to do so safely.

For some reason (I assume because my CV is on a few job search websites) I get quite a lot of them.
Had someone else offer me a "role" of ebay specialist. He wanted me to set up my own ebay account and paypal account,then would email me a picture of the item along with a description. He then wanted me list the item,then when the auction ends,send him the money and he will then "send off the item" to the customer.
Obviously this is waving red flags all of the place. On average I usually get about 1-2 times a week from different people. Its concerning because, as you said there are elderly people who are more likely to fall victim to it.

i have just recieved this email saying that they have looked at jobsite.co.uk and picked me out. mi immediate thought that this is a scam as there is no contact number or company address.

"Judging on your resume on jobsite.co.uk. We are pleased to extend an offer to join Vision Systems Ltd as a F.S. Agent.

A salary for the position includes 27600 on annual base salary; 8% commission for each complete transaction.

Job Title for Financial Support Agent.: You will be transferring and receiving funds from our clients, insuring that every transaction executed in timely manner.

The offer is contingent on a successful background check. In addition, you will be required to register in our online system.

My Bull guard blocked the websites they have set up and provided links to. Offering to pay 8% commision in the initial email then having asked for more info they declare you have to pay them 8%. lmao

Obviously a scam and their sites may possibly be set up to infect visitors.
