Re: Driving Your Car?

Paul Grant ( [email protected] )

Here's the basic premise of the "paid to drive" concept:
BizLogix Business Services seeks people -- regular citizens, not professional drivers -- to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with a big advert for "BizLogix" plastered on your car. The ads are typically vinyl decals, also known as "auto wraps," that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which will cover any portion of your car's exterior Surface.

What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy? Lots of exposure and awareness. The auto wraps tend to be colorful and eye-catching and attract lots of attention. Plus, it's a form of advertising with a captive audience, meaning people who are stuck in traffic and can't avoid seeing the wrapped car alongside them.

This program will last for 3 months and the minimum period you can participate is 1 month You will be compensated with a $300 (Three hundred dollars per Week), which is essentially a "rental" payment for letting our company use the space. BizLogix Business Services shall provide experts that would handle the advert placing on your car.

You will receive your 1st week payment of $300 (three hundred dollars) in form of check for accepting to carry this advert on your car and other weekly payments will also be delivered at your address weekly.

Why did you refuse the check? So is this a scam or not because I cant really tell. When he says something about using the advance to pay the professional whos going to wrap the car does that mean you have to use the money from the check they sent you to pay the professional??

Welcome to Scamwarners Bchasko94.

Yes it's a scam. Note this carefully.

Note you will receive a check for the amount of $2150.45 the sum of $300 will be your 1st weeks payment for carrying the advert on your car and you would forward the balance to the expert who is going to handle the advert and Wrapping placing on your car.

The basic scam is that you receive a counterfeit cheque and will then be requested to pay a sum of money on by Western Union/MoneyGram. If you suggest that he pays you by Western Union and that you pay his agent by cheque he won't accept it. Of course the agent is him and he'll not agree to both payments being made by Western Union because the only money in this deal that will be real is the money that you'll take out of your account because the cheque will bounce.

It's a new twist on an old scam.

There's a warning posted about other variations here
