Received an email from local employment office, responded, did an online interview, received a letter of employment, did 4 days of testing, received a $1900 check. All in the matter of one week. Luckily I had not opened the e-mail telling me to deposit the check until after I called the attorney's office that was on the Fed EX envelope and the bank where the check was issued only to find out the scammers had hacked into the attorney's accounts and had sent bogus checks. I reported to Crime Authorities, the bank is also doing the same, so its the attorney's office, I contacted the news authorities, and the company that supposedly hired me. The company is legitimate however someone Is using their name for this scam. Eventually they will be caught, and punished. I was really disappointed since I quit job to start the training on this job scam. But I have to realize it may be a blessing in disguise. Everything happens for a reason, I had taken a $10 hour job out of desperation, (after being laid off from a job of 22 years due to an acquisition), and hated going to work every day, it was such a negative environment and this forced me to start looking again,. I guess things will eventually work out but feel bad for everyone who was duped by these insensitive goons, how sad to prey on those who need the most help.
